Sheryl is a Consultant focusing on knowledge networks, psychology of choice and consumer behavior with emphasis on health and life sciences. Sheryl is a native of the UK but settled in the US after a post-doctoral fellowship at Washington University. Her 17 year career in the pharmaceutical industry has afforded Sheryl significant opportunities to develop a deep understanding of knowledge management and innovation practices. Sheryl has presented widely on knowledge management and business intelligence for the life science industry. Most recently Sheryl was Head of Science and Technology for the Worldwide Safety group of Pfizer Global R&D. While at Pfizer, Sheryl developed the company-wide Futures Intelligence Network that enabled future trends to be incorporated into day to day strategy and operations of Pfizer. Sheryl is now a health innovation consultant with particular interest in the psychology of choice and how patients respond to increasingly transparent health information. Sheryl constantly scans for new opportunities in health care, integrated health and preventative care. She is currently writing a book about the Future of the Patient in the Information Age. |
