David Sutherland was invited to teach in the Executive MBA Program at the
Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia during January 2005.
Sutherland’s program, titled “The Five Pillars of Innovation and Corporate
Growth,” introduced the Colombian executives to key foundations for establishing
sustainable innovation in their companies.

While in Colombia Sutherland was invited to speak at a number of key
Colombian companies recognizing the unique innovation challenges related to their business environment. He was also invited to participate in several
research projects related to South American business growth and will establish
linkages between faculty at Georgia Tech and the Universidad de los Andes.
Sutherland will return to los Andes to teach in the Summer MBA program during
June and July of 2005.
